part of a 4 part series on Software Quality Assurance, we will
describe the fundamentals of quality. This includes the
definition of quality, the difference between quality control
and quality assurance, how quality pioneers have laid the
foundation, the difference between processes and products, and
other concepts used in the quality industry. This material is
excerpted from QAI's Software QA Course, Boot Camp for
